Twelve James Madison Students Named National Merit Finalists

Twelve students from James Madison High School are semifinalists for the 2011 National Merit Scholarship.
The students are James Ashe, Collin Blakley, Lydia Carlson, Matthew Kelly, Joshua Lewis, Miranda Osterheld, Alexander Recinos, Leila Shebaro, Nadia Shebaro, Stephen Swanson, Alexander Weech, and Samantha Woloszynski.
All of these students will go on to compete for one of the 8,400 the National Merit Scholarships, worth a total of $36 million. Finalists will be announced in Spring 2011.
