A tree that fell Tuesday morning on Center Street brought down several power lines with it, causing town crews to close the roads until the lines can be repaired.

Center Street from Church Street to Ayrhill Road is closed until further notice, according to a town alert.

The street will remain closed until Dominion Power crews are able to repair the lines.

The incident did not appear to cause any power outages in the area.

The town is asking residents to avoid the area until the road is reopened.

There are also several roads closed in southeast and southwest Vienna as crews make repairs to broken water mains.
