Eating Across Vienna (Week One): Voting Open

Readers vote for favorite local restaurant dishes in new weekly feature.

Readers nominated seven dishes in the first week of Eating Across Vienna, a new weekly series aiming to recognize culinary greatness in town.

Now, it's time to vote.

To simply the process, we've eliminated nominees in the salad/sandwich category this week: a grilled chicken salad from Skorpios/Maggio's and a tuna sandwich from Sweet Leaf Cafe. We also eliminated the second nomination, Sweet Ginger Pasta, to come from Sweet Ginger Restaurant.  As a reminder, nominators can resubmit their choices for consideration the following week.

Choose one of the remaining nominated dishes in our poll below as the "best" dish in Vienna; use the comments section to argue your case for people who might have a hard time deciding.

This week's choices:

Voting will close at 11:59 p.m. Thursday, and a winner will be revealed Friday morning. Tune in on Monday to read our review of the dish, and, nominate another.

While we discourage manipulating a vote, our current voting system can't prevent the practice. So, until our engineers make tweaks, strategize as you see fit. Patch's "Restaurant Commissioner" holds the right to make changes and decisions as necessary.
