Fairfax County Crime Blotter: Man Exposes Self, Porsche Stolen

A look at Vienna-area incidents reported to the Fairfax County Police Department through Feb. 13.

The following incident information was obtained from the Activity Report provided by Fairfax County Police Department’s Public Information Office. The incidents included are at the discretion of the PIO and are not to be considered all-inclusive.

Fairfax County Police logged the following incidents in the McLean Police District, which includes Vienna, Merrifield, Dunn Loring, greater Falls Church, McLean, Tysons Corner and Great Falls. (See a map of the district here.)

The report contains information for the week that ended Wednesday, Feb. 13. In that time across all of Fairfax County, police reported:

  • 34 charges related to domestic violence
  • 89 charges related to drugs
  • 75 charges related to DWIs.

In the McLean District, police reported: 

  • 20 larcenies
  • One vehicle theft
  • 3 major incidents

The following incidents occured in the greater Vienna area. Addresses listed indicate block numbers, not necessarily a specific address. Where arrests are mentioned, they do not indicate a conviction.

Indecent Exposure, 2900 block of Gallows Road, 2/9/13, 3:15 p.m. The victim, a cashier, reported while she was ringing up the suspect’s items for purchase. He exposed himself. He calmly walked away.

Burglary, 8200 block of Boone Boulevard, 1/31/13, 11 a.m. Several businesses reported someone entered each business and stole several items to include a camcorder and checks. Forced entry was made through the front door.

Burglary, 6900 block of Idylwood Road, 2/5/13, 2:40 a.m. A resident reported someone entered the home, but nothing was stolen. Entry was made through an open garage door.

1500 block of Spring Gate Drive, engagement ring from residence

1500 block of Spring Hill Road, tires from business

8000 block of Tysons Corner Center, bag of items from business

8000 block of Tysons Corner Center, jacket from business

200 block of Wolftrap Road, medication from residence
