Four Madison Rowers Sign Letters of Intent

Four girls make school history, signing to collegiate athletic rowing programs

Four Madison High seniors made school history, all signing letters of intent to row in college next year — the largest group of Madison rowers to ever sign for collegiate programs.

Caroline Williams has signed to UCLA; Hannah Brown will row for Gonzaga University; Lexy Shannon will show off her skills at the University of Alabama; and Georgia Ratcliff will bring her talent to the University of Virginia.

All four girls have been rowing together since sophomore year and have competed locally and nationally, winning medals at the state level, the Stotesbury Regatta in Philadelphia, and Youth Nationals in Oak Ridge, Tenn.
