Congratulations to Meadow Lane Park and Playground, which was chosen as the "Best Place for Family Fun" in Vienna in our Readers' Choice poll.

The playground edged out Wolf Trap National Park for the Performing Arts by two votes.

"We are so fortunate to have this wonderful National Park right in our backyard!" reader Penelopeplantlady wrote.

Though there were several choices in the poll itself -- including Jammin' Java, the Community Center and Caffi and Waters Fields -- readers wrote in with their own suggestions too.

Among them were the Town Green, Fosters, Church Street Pizza, Dairy Queen, Nottoway Park and the Farmers Market.

Some of those places will be eligible for a readers choice on "Favorite Parks" in the next few weeks.
