Most Romantic Spot In Vienna? You Tell Us

Vienna Metro Station, Café Renaissance named to previous lists

Over the years, people across the country have offered their opinions about the "most romantic" spot in Vienna.

Café Renaissance once again beat out more than 5 million restaurants this year in Restaurants.com's list of Top 100 Most Romantic restaurants.

And in 2011, Craigslist named the Vienna Metro Station the most romantic subway stop in America.

But where do Vienna residents go to woo their spouse or date? We want to hear from you. Leave a comment letting us know where you go for love.

I think that the Meadowlark Botanical Gardens is the most romantic spot in Vienna. Any woman wanna check it out? :)

If Restaurants.com searched the Vienna Patch archives and found the food inspection articles, they may rethink Café Renaissance. There's nothing romantic over having higher numbers of critical violations than your peers. That Vienna Patch series was welcome and eye-opening to see what's behind some of the facades.

Thanks for the reminder to start those up again! As for the most romantic spot: I love Church Street and the caboose in the snow. Sadly, we have not had much of that this year!

Lover's Lane just off of Pleasant Street near Windover Avenue, of course! But according to my years of extensive "research" Freedom Hill Park takes the cake.

Good one! Freedom Hill Park hides in plain sight just off Old Courthouse. It's a nice secluded park near Tysons. Great place for private picnic.

OF COURSE!!! Lover's Lane! That's one of the first things I happened to notice when we launched Patch here. Good call on FHP, too.

Freeman House. Because my great grandfather and his new bride were there in the winter of 1863-64 when he was Colonel of the 16th New York Cavalry, stationed at Vienna.

James: What a great story! Can you email me at erica.hendry at patch.com? I'd love to hear more about your great grandfather.
