Madison High Warhawks are showing their school spirit this week, participating in festivities leading up to Homecoming weekend.

Throughout Spirit Week, the students have dressed up according to themes: Year 80, African Safari, Jungle Gym (sports gear), and Salad Dressing (a flavor for each class).

On Wednesday night, the senior girls dominated in the Powderpuff game, defeating the juniors 40-8.

Spirit Week continues today, as students will dress in their class T-shirts, throw a pep rally, march in a parade and cheer on the football team against Thomas Jefferson High School for Science and Technology.

The parade, scheduled for 3 p.m., will start at Vienna Presbyterian Church and end at Madison.
