With unseasonably warm weather, Santa returned to Vienna on Monday night to light the town Christmas Tree in the annual Church Street Holiday Stroll.

Children and their parents wove a tightly packed line from the porch of the Freeman store down Church Street hoping Santa would give them his ear.

Performers from local schools, churches and community groups entertained residents while others strolled around the streets to listen to caroling, visiting the petting schools and getting balloons.
