The Vienna Turkey Trot celebrated its 10th anniversary with the addition of a 10k to its annual festivities.
Each year, the event has featured a 5k and Fun Run to raise money for two organizations: the James Madison High Marching Band and the Vienna Volunteer Fire Department.
First Virginia Community Bank sponsored the Turkey Trot, which featured about 1,500 runners in a race that began and ended at the Vienna Fire Station on Center Street.
