Alternative rock band Wilco played two nights this week at the Wolf Trap National Park for the Performing Arts. The two-time Grammy Award-winnning Chicago-based band played such favorites as "Impossible Germany", "I Might" and selections from Woody Guthrie.
Enjoy the photos!

I went to first show on Tuesday -- incredible that Tweedy kept his suitcoat on the entire show! Nice pix.

That's what I was thinking too Phil! I was wearing a tank top and shorts and I felt like I was melting. How he kept the jacket and hat on are beyond me.

Thanks Phil. It was a great show, and my first time to see the band live.

I love Wilco. Nels is amazing and Jeff's voice is perfect. I went to Tuesday's show and it was my third time seeing them. I feel like there's so many artists and bands where you have to wonder when you go to see them live, will they be any good in front of a crowd. It's never a question with Wilco. They never disappoint, and they played all my favorite songs (I'm Always in Love, Ashes of American Flags, Heavy Metal Drummer, Impossible Germany, etc.). Fantastic set.
Amazing photos James! Did you enjoy the show?

Also—quick question, James. Did shirtless cowbell guy come out Wednesday night? He came on stage to very passionately play the cowbell during the encore, dancing around with much vigor, on Tuesday. It was hilarious. (I may have video I could post a link to.) :)
