The Warhawks faced a younger, less experienced Loudon County squad and scored in bunches to cruise to a 12-2 victory Friday.
The win helped Madison High move to 5-2-1 on the season.
The Warkhawks were led by junior Ben Headley who was virtually on fire, scoring 7 goals on 10 shots. Senior Aaron Shiohama poured in 3 goals of his own while senior Jacob Hall and junior Dan MacCall each recorded a tally with many others registering assists.
For the 3rd game in a row, the Warhawk defense was in top form as they limited Loudoun County’s chances with strong play in front of sophomore net-minder Andrew Herrmann who brushed aside 19 of the 21 shots he faced.
Next game: Madison celebrates senior night at 6:10 p.m. Friday versus Osborn Park at Reston Skatequest.
