Not only was Malcolm closed, but Cottage and a couple other streets as well, making driving around Vienna a real challenge yesterday. Today, the water coming from my tap smells like rotten eggs. I have no idea if it is a result of all the water main breaks or something else. I live off Lawyers about half a mile north of the break on Malcolm yesterday. Anyone else in this area getting stinky water today?

Thanks for keeping us posted, Amelie -- information from the town only specified the Malcolm Road closure. Does your water still smell strange?

It got a little better towards evening -- I had to rewash some of my clothes earlier because even after the dryer they smelled like sulpher. Even my refrigerator's water filter, which usually does a good job, could not get rid of the odor earlier today.
