Weekend Guide 5/6 to 5/8
Vienna Saturday Farmers' Market Opens For Season
This weekend marks one of the earliest signs of summer in Vienna: the return of the Vienna Saturday Farmers' Market.
Its kickoff this weekend will include "giveaways every hour, hula hoop contest with prizes, $25 in strawberries for the best strawberry recipe, and more," says Sarah Jane Brady, the co-market volunteer manager.
You can stay posted this year with the market's new Facebook page, which gave away the biggest market news this year: "Fresh homemade donuts and crepes are back!"
The market runs from 8 a.m. to noon, in the caboose parking lot at Mill and Church Streets NE.
