Town of Vienna offices will be closed Monday and Tuesday to observe the Christmas holiday.

Here's what that means for town services:

Town Hall: Closed Monday and Tuesday

Trash/Recycling: Refuse will be collected on a normal schedule Monday, but will not be collected Tuesday, Christmas Day. 

Refuse will be "doubled-up" and collected for residents on the Tuesday and Wednesday routes on Wednesday, according to a release from the town.  

"Residents who are on the "doubled-up" days are asked to hold any yard waste, bulk and brush materials for collection on their next regular collection day as crews will focus on picking up trash and recycling on doubled-up days," the release said.

Vienna Community Center: Open between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. Monday. Closed Tuesday. 

FAIRFAX COUNTY

Fairfax County's government offices and services will have special hours and closings during the Christmas holiday.  

County Government 

• Dec. 24, 25 – Closed. 

Courts 

• Dec. 24, 25 – Closed. 
• Dec. 26 – Circuit Court only - hours are 2 to 4:30 p.m.

Public Schools and School Offices 

• Dec. 24 - Jan.1 – No school for students and teachers.
• Dec. 24, 25 – Twelve-month personnel off.

Library 

• Dec. 24, 25 – Closed. 

Fairfax Connector 

• Dec 24 – Regular weekday schedule.
• Dec. 25 – Sunday schedule.

Fastran 

• Dec. 24, 25 – Not in service.

Park Authority 

• Dec. 24 – RECenters will close at noon. George Washington RECenter, nature centers, historic sites, Frying Pan Farm Park and Green Spring Gardens – Closed. 
• Dec. 25 – All facilities closed. 

Teen and Senior Centers 

• Dec. 24, 25 – Closed.

Community Centers 

• Dec. 24, 25 – Closed.

McLean Community Center 

• Dec. 24, 25 – Closed.

Reston Community Center Hunters Woods and
Reston Community Center Lake Anne 

• Dec. 24 – 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
• Dec. 25 – Closed.

County Trash and Recycling Collection – For residents receiving Fairfax County collection service for trash and recyclables, there will be no trash or recycling collection on Dec. 25. Trash collection for Tuesday customers will occur on Dec. 26. Please have your trash and recycling to the curb by 6 a.m. to ensure collection.

Recycling and Disposal Facilities at I-66 and I-95 

• Dec. 24 – Closes at 1 p.m.
• Dec. 25 – Closed.
