Wolf Trap's professsional guitar instructor leads students through the fundamentals of keys, chords, strum patterns, and finger picking in a comfortable group setting. Students learn about the history of the instrument, notation and traditional musical styles, then apply the concepts they've learned to songs and appropriate chord progressions.

The Center for Education at Wolf Trap is a nonprofit, national, arts-in-education resource center for children, parents, educators, and performing artists. The Center is the new home to Wolf Trap's acclaimed Education Programs, and also houses the renowned Wolf Trap Opera Company and Wolf Trap Foundation administrative staff. Some educational programs include children's theater, internships, master classes for students and adults, workshops and more. The facility has an educational pavilion as well as a learning center, lecture hall and numerous practice rooms.
