For students pursuing careers in business or IT, Virginia International University (VIU) of Fairfax, VA has expanded its course offerings in both the School of Business and the School of Computer Information Systems. VIU is excited to announce three new concentrations within the Master of Business Administration (MBA) program and seven new specializations within the Master of Computer Science (MCS) program!
In addition to its current concentrations which include Accounting, Global Logistics, Health Care Management, Hospitality & Tourism Management, Human Resources Management, International Business Management, International Finance, and Marketing Management, the School of Business is pleased to add the following concentrations to its MBA program:
· Mass Media & Public Relations
· Project Management
New course offerings in the program will include classes on business innovation, finance and venture capital, journalism and writing for media, media technology, press history, and project management systems – among many others!
The School of Computer Information Systems proudly adds the following specializations to its MCS program:
· Computer Animation & Gaming
· Data Management
· Intelligent Systems
· Software Applications Development
· Software Engineering
New course offerings in the program will include classes on computer graphics and animation, interactive multimedia design, network management, cloud computing, data warehousing, forensics, intrusion detection and prevention, wireless and mobile security, and adaptive learning systems – among many others!
The new programs will be offered beginning in the Summer I 2014 semester, which begins on May 5, 2014.
