Warhawk Wrestling Places Three Champions At Conference Tournament
The James Madison High School Wrestling Team placed three individual champions at the Virginia Liberty Conference 6 Championships at Hayfield Secondary School this weekend.
Freshman Wyatt West (120lbs), Senior Connor Eckhardt (145lbs) and Senior Chris Hines (182lbs) each climbed to the top of the podium after two days of hard wrestling.
The Warhawk team placed second out of eight teams, representing their best team finish to date under the leadership of Head Coach Shawn Hutchison.

The team placed 9 wrestlers in the Conference tournament, who will now compete next week at the Northern Virginia Regional Tournament at Robinson High School in Fairfax.
