Elementary Schools See Higher Turnout In Day Two Of Walk/Bike Challenge

Despite rain, more students leave their cars at home for Bike To School week

Despite some early showers, Wolftrap, Vienna and Cunningham Park Elementary Schools continued Tuesday morning, with 366 students walking or biking to school, and even more carpooling.

Hunter Mill District School Board Member Stu Gibson joined a walking bus of students at Wolftrap Elementary School, which let him see "first hand some SRTS issues," said Wolftrap parent organizer Jeff Anderson.
