This week, Frugal Family came up with great deals on dental treatment, holiday shopping, and a fun night out.

(We’ve tried to include some of the fine print, but please remember to check with the merchant for additional conditions):

1. Give yourself the gift of a great smile at Dr. Allan Garai's orthodontic office in Vienna.

Deal: Call Dr. Garai's office (703) 281-4868) to set up a complimentary Invisalign consultation and you will receive $500 off treatment and a whitening kit

Good through: None specified.

2. Who doesn't love a deal on holiday portrait gifts?

Deal: Skip into Picture People at Tysons Corner with this coupon, and you'll get their "Big Bundle" package of 25 color portraits of your favorite photo (one 10 x 13, one 8 x 10, two 5x7s, five 4x6s, and sixteen wallets).

Good through: Dec. 31.

3. If you plan to do most of your holiday shopping online, don't forget to search for coupon codes before you buy

Deal: Perhaps the easiest way to find coupon codes is to just type into your search browser the name of the store from which you want to purchase something, followed by the words "coupon code" (i.e., Red Envelope Coupon Code), and you'll see bunches of links for ways to save major percentages off, get free shopping, or both! It's an easy thing to do that many, many people forget about, and it can mean a huge difference in your budget! Two of my favorites are http://coupon-codes-online.blogspot.com and www.retailmenot.com.

Good through: The coupon codes will be labeled with their validity date.

4. It's not in Vienna, but it's worth the drive to Falls Church to peruse Stifel & Capras, one of my absolute most favorite shops for vintage treasures, gifts you'll never find anywhere else, home decorative items and artwork.

Deal: On Dec. 2 (First Friday) from 5 to 8 p.m., party with resident artist and featured seller Elizabeth Loftis, enjoy a snack, and put a dent in your shopping list at the fully stocked store featuring items of every price range and size.

Good through: Dec. 2, 5 to 8 p.m.

5. Laugh your way through the holidays at Comedy Zone

Deal: Pay $49 for a Comedy Show Package (four tickets plus parking ($111 value) and benefit Louise Archer Elementary.

Good through: Buy by next Monday; enjoy for six months from date of purchase.
