Indoor Moon Bounce at Magic Party Place

Where/When: Childtime Magic Party Place, 312 Dominion Road, NE, Vienna; Fridays, 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Why Go: Help kids use up that extra energy by bouncing till their hearts’ delight. Admission price is good for as long as you’d like during open hours.

Price: $10 per child.

The Great Zucchini at Jammin Java

Where/When: Jammin Java, 227 Maple Avenue East, Vienna; Monday, February 21 at 10:30 a.m.   

Why Go: Spend President’s Day with your child and this magical preschool and kindergarten entertainer, who performs a colorful magic show where every child is a star and guaranteed to laugh. Children will even learn a magic trick at the end of show.

Price: $5 per person ages one and older. Tickets are available at the door only.

Kids Nutrition Class at Whole Foods Market

Where/When: Whole Foods Market, 143 Maple Avenue East, Vienna; Monday, February 21 at 4:30 p.m. 

Why Go: Help your child create healthy eating habits early in life. Bring your elementary-school-aged child for an exciting kids cooking class that will focus on making vegetables accessible and delicious for younger eaters. Class is limited to 15 kids, so RSVP to katie.wolffe@wholefoods.com.

Price: Free!

Weekly Storytime at Barnes & Noble

Where/When: Barnes & Noble at Tysons Corner Center, 1961 Chain Bridge Road, McLean; weekly on Wednesdays and Saturdays from 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.

Why Go: Let someone else read to your little one for a change, while you regain your composure browsing nearby titles. The interactive stories include tales from a selection of tried and true classics, as well as the newest craze in kids literature.

Price: Free!

Drop In Open Play with Vehicles at Vienna Community Center

Where/When: Vienna Community Center, 120 Cherry Street, SE, Vienna; Thursdays, 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m.

Why Go: The Community Center offers a big space for toddlers and preschoolers ages 20 months to five years to run free with play vehicles. Parents need to stay with children and bring their own vehicles, which must be non-motorized and have three wheels or more.
