Annie Get Your Gun Performance at Madison High School

Where / When:  James Madison High School, 2500 James Madison Drive,
Vienna; opens on Thursday, April 28, and runs with four shows through Saturday, April 30. Shows on Thursday, Friday and Saturday are at 7:30 p.m., plus a 2:30 p.m. show on Saturday.

Why Go: Support local, high school drama while viewing this acclaimed Irving Berlin musical about a lively young lady in a Wild West show, who falls in love with a show mate.  It's live musical theater that's cheaper than a professional show at the Kennedy Center.

Price: $10 per ticket.

Skate Park on Wheels

Where / When: Vienna Volunteer Fire Department Parking Lot, 400 Center Street, Vienna; Saturday, April 23 from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Why Go: Skateboarding, ramps, rails and jumps will be on-site for your young skaters' delight. Helmets are required for everyone, and wrist guards, elbow pads and knee pads are recommended for those under 16 years old.

Easter Egg Hunt at Nottoway Park

Where / When: Nottoway Park, 9610 Courthouse Road, Vienna; Saturday, April 23 at 10:00 a.m.

Why Go: Celebrate the holiday outside at an egg hunt with the Easter Bunny and prizes. For children ages 1 to 9 – hunts are by age group.

Tuesday Storytime at Tysons-Pimmit Library

Where / When:  Tysons-Pimmit Regional Library, 7584 Leesburg Pike Falls Church; Tuesday, April 19 from 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.

Why Go: Bring your little ones ages for stories, songs and activities at the library. Ages 1 to 2 with an adult.

Price: Free! No registration need.

Bedtime Storytime at Oakton Library

Where / When: Oakton Library, 10304 Lynnhaven Place, Oakton; Thursday, April 28 from 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.

Why Go: If you need a little help finishing up the day (and spring break week) with your kiddo, head over to the library for stories and songs before bedtime. For ages 2 to 5 with an adult.

Price: Free! However, register online
