VIENNA OKTOBERFEST 2013 should be in your Saturday plans.
The event, organized by the Vienna Business Association, starts at 11 a.m. and continues until 7 p.m. along Historic Church Street, and on and around the town green. A portion of the proceeds will support First Night Vienna.
Yes, there’s beer (and wine!), but there are also vendors, children’s activities, food and much more.
Admission is free.

Large portions of Historic Church Street, Dominion Road and Mill Street will be closed in the area around the town green.
Parking and travel in this area will be extremely limited starting very early Saturday morning and continuing until at least 8 p.m. Saturday.
The Beer and Wine Garden opens at 11 a.m. (drinks at noon). It is located northwest of the intersection of Church Street NE and the W&OD bike trail.The Children's Area is on the town green southeast of the Freeman House. Children's entertainment starts at 11 a.m. with Rocknoceros! Main Stage entertainment near the Beer Garden also starts at 11 a.m. with School of Rock. See: Beer Garden Music and the Children’s Stage for a full schedule and more information on the entertainment.
There will be more than 100 vendors selling everything from food to art, services, and other products. Most food vendors will be along Dominion Road, and most shops will be along Historic Church Street.
