Cerca Trova + Daughter of Stars + Everything Falls

The sound, the feeling, the edge, the music. It's all lost in the drone of their ever-busy lives. Deadlines and formats seem to rule the world. However, all it takes is one step, one reach, one song to break through to the hearts of the people."Cerca Trova." Some people spend their entire lives searching. Searching for love, purpose, and happiness. "He who seeks, shall find." Since 2005, Cerca Trova has also been searching. Across some lineup changes, a few EP releases, and copious amounts of dedication, progress is finally made. Yet the journey is not even close to being over. Through hard-hitting drums, face-melting guitar, heart-driving bass, and soul-piercing vocals, one will begin to finally understand the meaning of Cerca Trova. Join them in the search for what sets us apart from amoebas, real music. Relentless Rock n' Roll. American Rock n' Roll.

DAUGHTER OF STARS

Daughter of Stars' style echoes that of decades past where rock 'n roll was devoid of pretention and full of hopeful innocence. Thundering riffs are tempered with heartfelt songwriting and soaring harmonies fusing each song with a searing intensity. The band burst onto the DC scene in late 2011 when Billboard Award winning songwriter Nick Samuels, formerly of Numa, found an outlet for the raw rock sound he was envisioning in vocalist Devon, whose powerful bluesy wail has been compared to 70's rockers Ann Wilson and Janis Joplin. The quartet was rounded out by former One Third Dork drummer Jon Varga and bassist David Scherzinger who layed down the solid groove needed for the songs to take flight. Be sure to catch their next show and fall under the spell of the Daughter of Stars.

EVERYTHING FALLS
Embarking on a musical career is no simple endeavor, and Tennessee native Aaron Linkous is no stranger to the adversities of the music business. Prior to his arrival in the Mid-Atlantic region, the Everything Falls frontman completed his degree in Recording Industry and learned the ropes at two fast-paced Nashville recording studios. It was there in Music City, that he honed his skills as a singer/songwriter.In 2010, Linkous relocated to the DC-MD-VA area where he soon met current bassist, Mike Smith. Together, Smith and Linkous began a diligent search for additional musicians. After multiple rounds of auditions in 2011, the duo gladly welcomed Jeff Sauber on drums and Gabe Goodin on lead guitar. Everything Falls was finally formed. Influenced by (1) the intricate, powerful riffs of such bands as Breaking Benjamin, Chevelle, Three Days Grace and Metallica, and (2) the lyrical sentiments of bands like 3 Doors Down and Theory of a Deadman, Everything Falls delivers a hard-hitting combination of dynamic melodies and gripping lyrics. Deemed "polished" and "radio-friendly" by Northern Virginia Magazine, Everything Falls is poised to become a front-runner in the regional rock music scene.
