Fight The Lion + Cerca Trova + Playground Etiquette

Fight the Lion is the sound of victory and proudly sponsored by Jagermeister.

With the weight of the world on your shoulders, its no wonder the sky is cast over. Up ahead in the distance, daylight will break. A new hope in this fight we will make. These are the opening words to the debut album from Fight the Lion, called "When the Mighty Fall". The message is simple and positive. Fight through your struggles, face them head on and overcome them. No matter how big or small our walls are in life, we need to stay positive, stand up in the face of doubt and push ourselves through. This is where Fight the Lion's music starts. This is rock music for the masses with guitar angst, arresting rhythms, soulful harmonies and catchy melodies molded into a sound that anyone can understand and a message that we hope everyone can comprehend. Now Listen. Join the Fight...and Fight the Lion.

On their debut full length album, "When the Mighty Fall," Fight the Lion transitions from the title track's epic ballad to the full-throttle rock of "Fire it Up". With songs like "Let This Die" and "A New Hope", they paint a textured musical scene with complex harmonies and rhythms. If that's a little too heavy, "Don't Runaway" and "The Drive" score big with an Americana-rock sound and irresistible vocals. And if it's not heavy enough, "Longshot" hits like a savage punch to the gut. Fight the Lion crosses multiple genres, but always delivers killer melodies, masterful guitar work, and flawless rhythms.

Cerca Trova is an original band from Chantilly Virginia. Cerca Trova has been together since October 2005. They have a very refreshing sound and incredible stage presence. When they first started to play together, they came to it for the music and nothing more. Ever since day one it's been a group effort to achieve a common goal, the goal to share their music with as many people as possible. Every time they step onto a stage they are reminded of that and strive to put on the best performance they can.

Cerca Trova consists of four members, Jordan Waddell (Lead Vocals), Angelo Soares (Guitar), Dave Wernli (Bass), and Josh Cockrell (Drums). Jordan Waddell has had a passion for singing for a very long time and lets everyone know ita s soon as he steps on stage. Some of his influences are: Brandon Boyd of Incubus, David Grohl of The Foo Fighters, Rivers Cuomo of Weezer, Anthony Kiedis, and Paul McCartney. Angelo Soares has been in many different bands and has a lot of experience. He also has a very unique style when it comes to playing and writing music. Some of his influences are: Yngwie Malmsteen, Steve Val, Led Zeppelin, Fall of Troy, and B.B. King. Then there's Dave Wernli. Dave has a very unique style and has a broad range of influences some of which would be flea from Red Hot Chilli Peppers, The Used, and Fall of Troy. Finally, there is Josh Cockrell. Josh has been drumming for most of his life and was the captain of the Chantilly Drumline his senior year of high school. Some of his influences are John Bonham, Buddy Rich, and Bill Bachman. This four piece is very cultured band and lets it be known through their music.

The eclectic repertoire of Cerca Trova has grown even greater lengths with personal friendships as time has passed. They really strive to take their art to the next level. All four members have a great passion that cannot be defined in words, and with this great passion comes even more determination to succeed. Cerca Trova definitely has something to say and wants it to be known. They are a great act to be seen and should not be missed.

Anyone that has heard Playground Etiquette will say that they have experienced a new breed of rock. With the philosophy that everyone should have an equal say, it is no surprise that the band's authentic hybrid sound is actually as eclectic as they claim it to be. Genuine variety is what is important to them and that is blatant to anyone that listens to the band. Fusing musical influences from Rage against the Machine, Tool, European bands such as Muse, and the pop-punk spunk energy of Paramore, the band defines a new genre of rock.

Playground Etiquette's debut album, "Hit the Lights", was described as a "refreshing piece of cross-genre magic" (Unwind Magazine) and guarantees a successful fusion of different styles of music. From melodic vocal lines to intricate guitar solos to heavy break downs that even a timid spectator would move to, all four members - Athena, Mason, Johnny, and Andrew - come together to pour a disturbing amount of high energy and musicality into each song, leaving listeners jaw-dropped and begging for more from an iPod to the stage.
