Grand Revival + Archie + Ashtree

Grand Revival is a Northern Virginia based Rock n' Roll band. Forming in the summer of 2009, guitarists Nate Wilkinson and Daniel Calem, drummer Tony Reiter, and singer Cecelia Jeffery met through the School of Rock and covered a few Boston and Queen songs and started writing original music. Alex Obolensky replaced Jeffery as the singer at the end of the summer, and Grand Revival put on its first show in the Fall of 2009.

This lineup remained fairly constant until gaining bassist Gilbert Pitcher in 2010. Grand Revival began to play a lot of shows at Jammin Java and other local venues and grew its fan base.

In the Summer of 2011, Grand Revival released its EP Just as Grand, recorded by John Fee. After this, guitarist Nate Wilkinson went on tour with the School of Rock All Stars. When returning, Grand Revival had the oppertunity to play at the Gathering of the Vibes festival in Connecticut, but Reiter and Calem were unable to attend; producer John Fee filled in for Reiter and became the permanent drummer while guitarist Richard Smith filled in for Calem.

The same summer, Grand Revival made it into the top 40 of the Battle to Break out, then the Top 9, then after a Battle of the Bands at Jammin Java, the band made it into the Top 3. The band was then disqualified because they were too young. The band that Grand Revival had defeated at Jammin Java won the contest and went on to open the WHFS HFStival at Merriwether Post Pavillion. Guitarist Daniel Calem left the band at the end of the Summer.

In the Summer of 2012, Grand Revival recorded their first full length album, Grand Revival.

ASHTREE
The delicate balance of booming piano keys and swirling guitars is what gives Denver's darlings, ASHTREE, such a unique sound. "Rescue The Light" is a battle cry for the quintet, they want the world and they want it now.The album starts with a bold plea for a year without January, and living in Colorado, you can understand the sentiment. Undeniably catchy tracks like "I'm Sure" and "Pretender" guarantee the world isn't too far off.
