Lydia + Speak + Ocean Is Theory

Whether expressing the vicissitudes of a romance run off course or finding one's soul deep inside his or her thoughts, Lydia crafts its sound with cadence approach that creates the equal allegiance to thunder and quiet found in Antleman's words, and further solidifies its place as the voice of today's indie rock generation. Lydia has risen to fame quickly as the band won a nationwide competition to be part of Atticus Draggin' the Lake Volume 3 compilation hosted by the Atticus Clothing with the song "Smile, You've Won," in 2005. It continued its success with its demo, "Your Taste is My Attention," making it to the Volume 4 in 2006.

The band (then Leighton, Steve, Ethan, Evan and Mindy White) released their sophomore album "Illuminate" to extremely positive reviews and gained a great following. The band released their (at the time) final album, Assailants on July 20, 2010. They followed it up with the Goodbye & Farewell Tour in both the United States and Australia.

After a year long hiatus, Leighton and Craig have decided to write, record, and released a brand new album under the Lydia name in the summer of 2011.

Formed in 2007, Ocean Is Theory is a proven indie success story. Their self released EP Into the Mouths of Lions helped the band become a favorite amongst the local Atlanta scene and throughout the Southeast, and allowed them to gain credibility and exposure. While touring, they sold over 6,000 copies of the EP independently and soon caught the attention of retailers who brought the EP on board. At the same time, the band continued to write new material and released their second EP, In My Blood Again, in 2009. In My Blood Again was produced by Matt Malpass (Copeland, Lydia, Relient K) and mixed by producer Mike Sapone (Brand New, Taking Back Sunday).Based out of Atlanta, GA.

Forever questing for innovation, SPEAK invoke timeless melodies in energetic, synth-laden anthems. Frontman Troupe Gammage has been recording music since age 11. Mesmerized by the compositions in his favorite video games, he started creating his own using rudimentary computer software. Developing his sound through his study of electronic music and observation of his musician parents (Ernie Gammage and Christine Albert) and the Motown collection at home, Troupe released his first EP at age 16. He went on to release two more albums online garnering over 25,000 downloads to date. The band's debut album EP, "Hear Here" has garnered serious attention, receiving highest 4-star honors from the Austin Chronicle, and great reviews across the board. SPEAK was named Best New Band by the Austin Music Awards.
