Minh + Saffron Holiday + Haley Sales

Going simply by his first name, Minh brings his own sophisticated and eclectic brand of urban pop crossover music onto the international stage. As a prolific artist-producer, his catalog reflects an ever-evolving experiment with sounds and styles, fusing his pop sensibility with soul, electro, and rock. His songs are arguably among the most memorable in the history of music, winning the hearts of music fans and industry insiders alike. An ASCAP composer and publisher, Minh also holds a voting membership with The Recording Academy, home of The Grammy.

Born in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, he immigrated to the DC area with his family when he was 9 years old. He had already started writing poems by that age and began writing songs by the age of 13. In middle school, he penned a song that would be sung by his school's choir during their annual Christmas concert. This and winning some talent competitions during his early school days were tell-tale signs of what is to come.

However, at the age of 14, any potential was nearly destroyed when he became a part of a black hood gang and started dealing crack cocaine on the streets where he lived. A bad drug deal that took place after a friend tricked him into selling fake crack led to his self-imposed exile to keep from getting killed. During this time, he was invited to church by a friend and the experience there would turn his life around. After graduating high school, he spent several years helping organize outreaches and campaigns to help those in need while also doing both music and speaking in youth groups, events, and even in state and federal penitentiaries across the country. Entrepreneurial at heart, Minh founded his own marketing and entertainment company in 2004, today known as Minh Unlimited.

In 2005, he began exploring a career in music, performing at open mics while producing music in his home project studio. This resulted in his first self-produced album, "Life.Love.Soul.", which was released in early 2006. However, being dissuaded from entering the music industry by a mentor, he put it off all the while continuing to privately produce as a hobby.

It wasn't until 2010 that Minh began his career with the release of "Dreamgirl's Heart", a full-length electro-soul album which served as a primer for his push into the industry. Within a few months of its release in February 2010, Minh landed a film/tv licensing contract for that album with Hella Good Records out of Los Angeles, CA.

Minh quickly followed it up with the release of "Layers", another full-length album, in October 2010. At this point, his music began attracting the attention of music industry executives. Continuing to build his career, he released two more singles before the year's end from an upcoming album, "The Shape of You". Before the album was ever released, two singles got licensed by ShowRunner Music, a company co-founded by highly sought-after MTV music supervisor and producer, Jon Ernst, for placement in films and tv.

Now with the release of his fourth studio album, "The Shape of You", in March 2011, Minh is proving to a skeptical industry just how prolific he is as a writer/producer and how capable he is of charting sustainable success in the new music era. In this changing world of music and entertainment, Minh is the artist, producer, and entrepreneur to follow as he continues to make his mark in his own way. His music speaks for itself.

Saffron Holiday draws from modal jazz, blues, classic rock, alternative, and indie to create material that resonates with harmonies, hooks, and rhythms that don't let go. The band's music has been referred to as "transatlantic rock," bringing together musical traditions from the U.S., the U.K., and beyond.
