Renowned for his artful mandolin skills, this GRAMMY-winning legend has been called King of Telluride, after his bluegrass festival reputation.

• Sam Bush was named one of the originators of the Newgrass musical genre, an expedition into the joining of traditional bluegrass with jazz, rock, and reggae.
• Bush has jammed with other Wolf Trap artists, including Béla Fleck & The Flecktones, Emmylou Harris, and Lyle Lovett.
