Local Artist to Present Work at Meeting of Vienna Artists

David Daniels, known for his work with watercolors, is coming to town to discuss his art.

David Daniels was a biologist and botanist who spent his days studying nature and the living creatures within it. Now, he is an artist who uses his keen eye for nature to bring its subtle beauties to life.

Daniels will attend a meeting of the Vienna Arts Society on Aug. 8 to give a demonstration of his artwork and discuss it with fellow artists.

The artist will feature his experimental, Impressionistic work with watercolors that uses a number of transparent layers of print to bring out his depictions of nature.

The Aug. 8 meeting of the Vienna Arts Society will begin at 7:30 p.m. at the Vienna Arts Center on Pleasant Street. The event is free and open to the public.
