Oktoberfest is this Saturday, Oct. 5 along historic Church Street in Vienna.
Most people associate Oktoberfest in Vienna, Germany and everywhere else with beer.
While that’s a key element, there are a lot of other things at Vienna Oktoberfest 2013. There’s wine, food, activities for children, vendors and music.
Throughout this week on Vienna Patch, we’ll be previewing all of it—we’re starting with the music in the Beer Garden and Children’s Stage entertainment. Here's the schedule and links to more information about the acts:
Music on the Main Stage in the Beer Garden:
11 a.m. – 1 p.m. School of Rock – See some of the students from Vienna’s premiere rock music school.
1 p.m. – 4 p.m. Sexton’s 11-Piece German Band – Known for playing German festivals throughout the region.
4 p.m. – 7 p.m. Fat Chance Band – The rock band also played the Vienna Fourth of July fireworks show this summer.
Entertainment on the Children’s Stage on the Town Green:
11 a.m. Rocknoceros!
