Vienna Parks and Rec Sponsors Trip to Philadelphia Flower Show
The theme of this year's show is "ARTiculture," a collaboration between Flower Show designers and the nation's great art museums.
Had enough of cold, wintry weather? How about a trip to the Philadelphia Flower Show?
The Town of Vienna is making it easy for you to go. Sponsored by the Vienna Parks and Recreation Department, a charter bus will leave Wednesday, March 6, at 8 a.m. from the Vienna Community Center, 120 Cherry Street SE, and return around 7 p.m.
The 2014 Flower Show is an unprecedented collaboration of Flower Show designers and the nation’s great art museums that turns the Pennsylvania Convention Center into a 10-acre living canvas of exquisite landscapes, gardens and floral arrangements.

The entrance exhibit of “ARTiculture” is inspired by the sculptures and style of Alexander Calder, a member of Philadelphia’s historic family of artists, and features an aerial dance troupe performing above and within the display.
The cost of $69 for Town of Vienna residents and $86.25 for out-of-town participants includes transportation and admission to the show with all-day re-entry privileges. Registration required.
