WaPost: Wolf Trap's Sound System Leaves Something to Be Desired

A Washington Post arts reporter praised the atmosphere at Vienna’s outdoor concert series NSO @ Wolf Trap, but did not have much love for the sound system in an opinion piece this weekend.

British pianist Benjamin Grosvenor “inhabited different worlds,” thanks to the sound system, the critic writes about a recent performance at the venue. The author goes on to say that the outdoor arena is better suited for pop music then classical.

This summer, the venue has attracted everyone from The Doobie Brothers, to Smash Mouth, and Bugs Bunny.
