Caboose Brewing Company Coming to Vienna

Look for a late August or early September opening.

Caboose Brewing Company will soon be opening its doors in Vienna at 520 Mill St. NE. The gastro-pub and brewery will likely be opening in late August or early September, according to a recent report by Northern Virginia magazine.

The owners of the new venture, Tim McLaughlin and Matt Greer, have hired a brewmaster from Heavy Seas Alehouse.

The location of their new business sits right alongside Mile 12 of the Washington and Old Dominion Trail, a perfect stop for thirsty and hungry travelers. A Facebook message says the establishment will be open for breakfast, lunch and dinner and also look for a brunch on weekends.

This week, the company sent out a message on Twitter that they are looking to hire a chef/kitchen manager:

Caboose Brewing Company is a microbrewery and gastropub featuring hand-crafted draft beers and an innovative menu, designed to pair with our brews. Our culinary emphasis focuses on seasonal, locally sourced ingredients, humane, sustainable practices, and health-conscious preparation. We strive to be a relaxed, family-friendly environment where both local residents and visiting guests can enjoy high-end comfort food along with a great selection of our own beers.  See more about the position here.

The company is reportedly waiting for a license to sell their brews, before the restaurant opens. Keep up with the latest on Caboose Brewing's Facebook page.
