Eating Across Vienna: Sunflower Vegetarian Wins Week 7

The restaurant, which has a second location in Falls Church, has won "Best Vegetarian" accolades from the Washington Post, Washington City Paper and Express Night Out, among others. The "chicken" collected 35 percent of the vote.

Readers , and up until Thursday night, all of them were in a virtual dead heat. The Sunflower dish was tied with Tara Thai's Pad Thai; less than 10 votes behind, Wolftrap's Chicken and Sweet Potato entree was tied with The Virginian's Greek Omelete.

Wolftrap took the lead around 6 p.m. Thursday, but by the time the poll closed Sunflower's entree had pulled ahead by 13 votes.

Here's how all the entrees stacked up:

• Pad Thai from 24%
• Greek Omelet from :13%
• Chicken and Sweet Potato entree from 26%
• General Tso's "Chicken" at :35%
