Eating Across Vienna (Week 11): Voting Open

Vote for your pick in this week's readers poll for best dish

Readers in the 10th week of Eating Across Vienna,

Now, it's time to vote.

The four nominations joined the two dishes that were tied in last week's poll: Seared Chicken Dumplings at and Jumbo Lump Crab cakes from .

We've eliminated one nomination this week -- the Omelet Bar from Whole Foods -- both to narrow the field and also because nominations for Eating Across Vienna must be from local/small establishments; Whole Foods is a national chain. (Readers, if you have opinions otherwise, make your argument in the comments).

Choose one of the dishes in our poll below as the "best" dish in Vienna; use the comments section to argue your case for people who might have a hard time deciding.

The choices are:

  • Chicken Kabob Wrap at Kabob Tavern, 523 Maple Ave W
  • Grilled Chicken and Sweet Potato from , 442 Maple Ave E
  • Gyro platter at Restaurant, 421 Maple Ave E
  • Jumpo Lump Crab Cake Sliders from , 111 Church Street NW
  • Seared Chicken Dumplings at 153 Glyndon St SE

Voting will close at 11:59 p.m. Thursday, and a winner will be revealed Friday morning. Tune in on Monday to read our review of the dish, and, nominate another.

While we discourage manipulating a vote, our current voting system can't prevent the practice. So, until our engineers make tweaks, strategize as you see fit. Patch's "Restaurant Commissioner" holds the right to make changes and decisions as necessary.

I voted for Kabob Tavern - glad to see this new local place open up. We ordered from there last night.
