Location is next door to new grocery store coming to town.

Vienna will soon be home to a new restaurant.

Chop't Creative Salad Company will be locating at Vienna Shopping Center, according to a recent report by shopping center owner Rappaport. The shopping center is located at 180 Maple Ave. W in Vienna. It's the same shopping center that will also be seeing a new grocery store, Mrs. Green's.

Chop't will be sandwiched between Vienna Drug Center and Mrs. Green's, according to a Rappaport map.

Chop't offers salads and sandwiches; you can order off the menu or create your own from an assortment of ingredients (see PDF of menu below photo) and 28 salad dressing flavors.

In addition to everything from fried onions to fresh beets, you can also add proteins including turkey, chicken, steak, bacon, shrimp, tempeh or tofu to your creations.

The restaurant has locations in New York, eight locations in D.C., one location in Rosslyn and one in Bethesda; one is also reportedly coming to Gaithersburg.

The restaurant has a loyalty program with an app that tracks your points.

The chain was first started 13 years ago with a first store in New York, by college friends Colin McCabe and Tony Shure.
