Now Open: Tysons UPS Store

The UPS Store has opened a new location in Tysons Corner.

The store, which officially opened in late February, is located in 8300 Greensboro Drive, at the intersection of Greensboro and Westpark drives.

The Tysons UPS Store is the third opened by business partners Peter Huang and Rob Wilson, who also own and operate UPS Stores in Reston and Herndon.

Huang said they were thrilled to finally be breaking into the Tysons area market.

“We’ve been at it for about 10 years and we’ve actually been looking for years to open one up in Tysons Corner,” Huang told Patch. “Last year we had a really good opportunity to get this space.”

The new location has open for about three weeks, but Huang said more and more customers were starting to show up.

“We are seeing a steady increase in customers every day and it just helps word of mouth and we’re getting online – Google finally has us listed, so that’s really helped drive a lot more customers,” Huang said.

The UPS Store will provide Tysons residents with packing and shipping, notary services, passport photos and mailboxes.

But the store will also have a heavier focus in professional printing.

“We actually have a lot more commercial grade printing equipment to do larger print jobs, cutting, laminating, binding,” he said.

The owners are planning a grand opening celebration for April 11, with free food and door prizes. Exact details will be announced soon, Huang said.
