“It’s a surgery I enjoy,” he explained. “I enjoy the anatomy and it’s a successful surgery that is rewarding for the patient and for myself.”

He decided to move his family to Vienna because of all the town has to offer.

“We have family here, a lot of friends from undergrad here, it’s a good school system and it’s close to D.C.,” Boyd said. “I also like the ability to walk into town and go to the restaurants, like Bazins on Church and Church’s New York Pizza.”

He chose Fair Oaks Orthopedics because of the size of the practice and its focus on providing individualized patient care.

“It’s a patient-centered practice, and you get to know the patients,” he said.

In his spare time, Dr. Boyd enjoys running on the W&OD Trail, teaching his sons to play soccer and baseball, golfing, and deep sea fishing.
