Redskins Player to Help Launch Xbox One at Tyson's Microsoft Store

Meet Redskins player Pierre Garcon to celebrate the launch of the Xbox One.

The Xbox One console goes on sale this week, and the Tysons Corner Center Microsoft store will be hosting special events to celebrate.

At 10 p.m. Thursday, the store is hosting a launch party where they’ll give away $5,000 in prizes, according to a press release from the store. Attendees will have the opportunity to play the console's exclusive title Forza Motorsport 5

The Xbox One will officially go on sale starting at 12 a.m. on Friday.

The action continues with Redskins wide receiver Pierre Garcon on Saturday as part of the “Sports Star Challenge.” Fans will be able to meet Garcon and even challenge him to a game. The autograph signing will be from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m.

The store is located at the Tysons Corner Center on 1961 Chain Bridge Road on level 2.
