Parts Of 495 South Near Tysons Corner To Close This Afternoon

From 11 a.m. until 3 p.m. on Tuesday, lanes on I-495 south between Route 7 and the Oak Street Bridge will close so crews can restripe pavement in the Capital Beltway High Occupancy Toll (HOT) Lanes Project area.

Recent heavy storms washed away temporary pavement markings in the area, so crews are returning to the area to draw them again.

Lanes will close between Exit 47, Leesburg Pike, and the bridge, but should re-open by 3 p.m.
