Police Arrest Suspect in Tysons Mall Robbery

Police are still looking for four other men in the Tuesday smash-and-grab robbery.

Fairfax County police have arrested a suspect in Tuesday's smash-and-grab robbery at a jewelry store in Tysons Corner Center.

Brandon Bowditch, 22, of Hamtramck, Mich., has been charged with robbery after officers responding to the incident located him.

Around 4 p.m. Tuesday, five men shattered display cases at a jewelry store in the mall and snatched an unknown amount of jewelry. They then fled on foot from the mall.

The other suspects were described as black males. One had on a “bright red” hoodie, another had on a hoodie with black and white stripes, and the others had on black hoodies.

An employee in the store next to the crime scene caught the incident on video.
