Sunday events shut down roads in Vienna

A number of roads in Vienna will be closed Sunday for two large events.

The following roads will be closed from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. Sunday for the Vienna Elementary 5K Run:

  • Both directions of Cottage Street from Locust Street to Patrick Street

Later in the day, a section of Northwest Vienna will be closed from 2 to 5 p.m. for the annual Walk on the Hill in the Windover Heights Historic District:

  • Windover Ave from Lewis Street to Lawyers Road
  • Pleasant Street from Windover Ave to Church Street
  • Short Street from Lovers Lane to just over Windover Ave
  • Lovers Lane from Pleasant Street to Short Street
  • Walnut Lane from Pleasant Street to Lawyers Road
  • West Street from Lewis Street to Lawyers Road
