Traffic Signals Out At Follin Lane And Maple Ave On Wednesday

Scheduled contractor work at Maple Avenue and Follin Lane will shut off traffic signals and cause lane closures for much of the day Wednesday.

The work will occur between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m., Vienna officials said. The signals will not be functioning and traffic will have to be directed by flaggers.

During this time period, there will also be some closures on both of the roads. 

Other traffic headaches:

• A portion of Hunter Mill Road
• , from 10 a.m. onward. Drivers cannot make a left turn from James Madison Drive onto Maple Avenue, nor can they make a left onto James Madison Drive from Maple. Cars traveling on Chain Bridge Road from Oakton will be directed to use the service road in front of the McDonalds, and rejoin Maple Ave before the Nutley Street intersection.
• There
