Why Go: Embrace your inner gamer during the National Smyphony Orchestra's performance of "PLAY! A Video Game Symphony." The NSO will be featuring songs from classic and modern games like Super Mario Brothers and World of Warcraft.

Pricing: Tickets range in price from $20 to lawn seats to $52.

Why Go: Need we mention that tomatoes are finally in season? But you'll find more than just produce at this farmers' market. 

Pricing: Vendor prices vary.

Where/When: , 227 Maple Ave E., Vienna. Sunday, 7:30 p.m.

Why Go: Three bands for the price of one sounds like a pretty good deal!

Pricing: Tickets are $10 in advance or $13 on Sunday.

Where/When: Vienna Town Green, 144 Maple Ave E, Vienna. Friday, Saturday and Sunday, 6:30 p.m.

Why Go: If you find yourself in downtown Vienna some evening this weekend, be sure to stop by the Vienna Town Green for some live music. Bring blankets, chairs and make yourself comfortable.

5. "Wicked" at The Kennedy Center

Where/When: The Kennedy Center, 2700 F St., NW, Washington. Friday, 7:30 p.m. Saturday, 1:30 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. Sunday, 1:30 p.m. and 7:30 p.m.

Why Go: A trip downtown is much quicker (and less expensive) than a trip to New York City! Make plans to catch one of the past decade's most popular Broadway shows, "Wicked." It has returned to Washington and tickets are selling out fast.

Pricing: Tickets range in price from $37 to $250.
