How Great's Vienna? See Where it Ranks Among Best Cities for Young Families

When it comes to choosing a place to live in Northern Virginia, young families have many towns to choose from. 

Consumer advocacy website NerdWallet recently ranked Vienna the second-best place to live in its Best Cities for Young Families in Virginia survey. 

The survey evaluated five factors in each town, including:

1.    Public school rating

2.    Average home value

3.    Ongoing cost of homeownership

4.    Average income

5.    Economic growth

The survey acknowledges Vienna's rising home values as a key factor for its high ranking.

"More and more people are flocking here, too: homes have been selling quickly, and home values are already up 17 percent from last year – real estate is booming once again in Vienna,"  the survey states.
