Town of Vienna Election Day Tuesday, May 6

Voters will head to the polls to vote for Mayor and Town Council members. Polls will be open from 6 a.m. to 7 p.m. at the Vienna Community Center.

Town elections are held each year on the first Tuesday in May at the Vienna Community Center. Polls are open from 6 a.m. to 7 p.m. Voters elect three Council members each year and Mayor during even-numbered years.

Voters will vote for three of the six candidates running for the Vienna Town Council. 

The candidates for the 2014 Mayoral and Town Council elections are as follows:

Voter Registration Deadline for May 6 Election
Monday, April 14, was the last day to register to vote in the May 6, 2014 Town election.  If you are already a registered voter, no additional registration is required for the Town election; however, you should check your voter registration card to be sure it lists your current name and address.  For more information visit Fairfax County Office of Elections or call (703) 222-0776.

Absentee Voting for May 6 Election
If you were going to be out of town on Election Day or are unable to go to the polls because of illness or disability, you may vote by absentee ballot in person or by mail. 

The deadline to apply for an absentee ballot by mail for Tuesday's election was April 29. Ballots must be received by the Fairfax County Office of Elections by 7 p.m. on Election Day in order to be counted. The last day to apply for an absentee ballot in person was May 3.
