If you want to vote in Virginia's Nov. 5 election and haven't registered yet, you have only a few days left.
The deadline is Tuesday, Oct. 15.
You can check your registration status and polling place on the website for the Virginia State Board of Elections.
Voter registration applications sent by mail must be postmarked by Tuesday, Oct. 15.
Applications are available at the local registrars' offices, the Department of Motor Vehicles or on the board's website.

Who (and what) is on the ballot?
There are four people running for sheriff in Fairfax, as well—Stacey Ann Kincaid (D), Bryan A. "B.A." Wolfe (R), and independents Christopher DeCarlo and
Robert A. Rivera.
In addition, Fairfax County voters will consider a bond referendum for schools.
