Why is creating STABILITY in the elbows, shoulders, knees and elsewhere so important to safe yoga practice?

How do you create it?

Are you aware of -- and know how to fine-tune the core pose of EVERY pose? How do you "bring your pelvis along" into poses?

These are just some of the important alignment principles you'll explore in this workshop based on Senior Iyengar yoga teacher Judith Lasater's classical modern yoga text, "30 Essential Yoga Poses for Beginning Students and Their Teachers."

Instructor Steve Wolf, who has studied with Lasater, will bring these poses to life in this second workshop on this topic.

Review -- or learn for the first time -- how to maximize the benefits of each pose, and how to do them safely. We'll also cover the fundamental importance of alignment during your practice and in daily life.

This workshop is appropriate for ALL Levels...from those just starting yoga through advanced students and teachers. Workshop attendance can be used for Yoga Alliance continuing education credits in the category of 'Techniques, Training and Practice."

No need to have attended Steve's first workshop to attend this one.

Fee includes Handouts.  Recommended Reading: 30 Essential Yoga Poses: For Beginning Students and Their Teachers (Available at Dream Yoga Studio)
