This weekend is packed! And since it will cool off, you can actually enjoy being outside again. Here are a few ideas of fun things to check out with your family:
Friday Nights Rock in NOVA. I love outdoor concerts- especially since they are free and family-friendly. This week you can see:
- The Four Star Combo bring rockabilly music to the Vienna Town Green.
- The Junkyard Saints (New Orleans Party Style) and the Paul Thorn Band (Humorous Mississippi Blues-Rocker) get everyone moving at the Herndon Festival.
- Everything from classical flute to "the blues on Red Bull" at Leesburg's First Friday Festival. Stroll through downtown and discover your familiy's favorite.
- Jed Duval's Johnny Cash Tribute Band fill The Grist Mill with country tunes.
- Spotlight by Starlight feature Anders Osborn's blues and more
- The Singing Sergeants and Concert Band play the music of cowboys at the Air Force Memorial
